The cusotmer is looking for a SOX Specialist, being able to manage activities related to SOX compliance and internal Control for the main applications of the domain. For the application portfolio, the main responsibilities of the specialist are:
- Ensure the SOX compliance of the applications in scope
- Organize and perform specific SOX activities such as User Access Reviews
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the application in regards of internal control and SOX activities (automation, simplification, …)
- Act as a project manager for big improvements that need to be implemented if necessary
- Ensure the compliance of the new applications, by validating the processes which have a SOX impact
POSITION DUTIES
• Conduct User Access Reviews for the application portfolio (quarterly)
• Dialog and inform with application business owners on regular basis to keep them informed (status, schedule)
• Ensure the processes regarding SOX are well followed
• Provide training on the way to improve SOX compliance
• Propose improvement on processes for the application portfolio (trying to be homogeneous between applications)
• Act as project manager and functional lead for big improvements needed on application portfolio
• Coordinate the deliveries with delivery managers
• Anticipate new application and work with the project managers to make sure the new application will be SOX compliant once in production
