Responsibilities
Data Management Stream Management :
â— Develop & manage the Data Migration Sub-project plan ensuring all tasks are achieved and deliverables are met. Review progress reports from all data migrations sub streams and provide a consolidate progress report with KPIs on a weekly basis.
â— Ensure that robust processes and procedures are in place for all phases of the data migration including cleansing, testing and validation.
â— Ensure all migrated data is fully validated by the business and documented in accordance with internal control and compliance standards.
â— Provide regular reporting and updates to the Data Migration PM on progress, issues and risks.
â— Analyze all steps of the data cleansing and data migration process (data extraction, trans codification, data loading etc) to ensure that all processes are working correctly ahead of the final migration. Provide reporting and identify solutions to rectify any deficiencies in the process.
â— Drive solutions for blocking items under the guidance and direction of the Data Migration PM.
â— Provide day to day management of third-party resources providing data migration services ensuring that they deliver on time and to agreed standards.
â— Coordinate with other internal and external stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
â— Work with Data Management & Architecture team to organize Data Architecture and Data Management
Main Skills and Experience :
â— Experience in at least 1 large scale (+10K users) data migration project (ERP or other) with geographically diverse project teams.
â— At least 5 years of experience holding similar positions.
â— Management of external providers and remote/offshore teams
â— Very Good knowledge of MDM concept
â— Very Good knowledge of data structures and hierarchies (design pattern)
â— Good firsthand experience of Data Governance, Data Technologies and Data visualization technologies
â— Good practical knowledge of Data modelling and Data quality tools and techniques.
â— Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the business, up to senior business and IT executives.
Experience :
â— ERP experience (IFS and/or Oracle Cloud is an advantage)
â— Knowledge of MDM tools
â— Experience in reporting with Power BI / Power Query or similar data visualization tools.
â— Professional Level English (both spoken and written)
Education :
â— Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
